Update: Reports are emerging that the logo is fan-made, meaning that someone with Sony Interactive Entertainment may have pulled the logo for the presentation from Google Image Search or another source. We have yet to hear back from Sony on whether the title is indeed real.
Sony appears to have confirmed that God of War Ragnarok will be the official title for its forthcoming sequel for PS5.
The God of War Ragnarok logo appeared in a slide in Sony's investor report, where it appeared along various other major games. The logo seemingly acknowledges that the title will indeed be God of War Ragnarok, apparently confirming speculation that began when the sequel was first announced last September.
Fans have guessed at the sequel to God of War's name since a dynamic theme appeared in April 2019 teasing that "Ragnarok is coming." The same phrase appeared in the teaser trailer. Nevertheless, Sony has held off on announcing its official name to this point.
Cory Barlog, who directed the first game and is also working on the sequel, posted this simple reaction gif on Twitter. Barlog didn't provide any context for the gif, but the timing was conspicuous. We reached out to both Barlog and Sony for confirmation about the name.

We still know very little about God of War Ragnarok, save that it will pick up the story of the first game, which left several unresolved threads concerning Kratos and his son. In Norse mythology, Ragnarok marks the end of days and the death of the gods — appropriate given Kratos' history.
God of War Ragnarok, if that is indeed its actual title, does not yet have a release date on PS5.
