After teasing the feature recently, Sony has now announced more details revolving around the PlayStation 5‘s new Media space, which will come with its very own Media Remote with dedicated controls. According to the company, all entertainment-related apps will be shifted over to the new space from the PlayStation Store, and at launch, the PS5 will support streaming platforms including Apple TV, Disney+, Netflix, Spotify, Twitch and YouTube. Amazon Prime Video, MyCanal, Hulu, Peacock and more will also be joining shortly after.
On the flip side to the new Media center, tech YouTuber Austin Evans has also come out with a new unboxing video of the DualSense gaming controller. In the 11-minute video (which you can view below), Evans gives fans a closer look at how the new PS5 controller actually looks and feels, comparing it to the old PS4 generation controller before hopping on a video call with rapper-turned-Twitch-streamer Logic, connecting it to an Xbox, and ultimately dissecting it “for science.”
Elsewhere in gaming, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War‘s new Zombies Onslaught mode will be a PS4 and 5 12-month exclusive.
